MY STORY

I started hoopers with Tian, a maltese mix, as an alternative to agility, since he was already seven years old and had some joint issues. I quickly fell in love with the sport and I have been teaching it since 2020. Since then I started training and competing with Sky, the standard poodle and Benji, the labrador retriever.

I don’t have tipical breeds that you find in hoopers, even in international level, which made me think outside of the box, when teaching my dogs. Sky, my standard poodle, who is a gentle soul and doesn’t want to do anything wrong taught me patience, since any confrontation put him in a state of mind, that a dog can not learn.

Benji, the labrador retriever, he doesn’t do anything if he doesn’t see a point in it. He doesn’t like repetitions of the same exercise over and over, which made me think of new strategies how to teach him hoopers.

In the end of 2024 Haru joined our pack. The tipical border collie, who loves to work. I am excited to see where the path will take us
